I have an unlocked Iphone 3g with version 2.1 firmware 2.11.07. I have cydia and it have a turbosim. How do I go about upgrading to version 2.2? I am very confused with the entire process and if anyone can lead me in some direction that would be great. I have a pc and also a mac.

Hi, I recently bought an Iphone and upgraded 2.28 to 2.30 with iTunes. I know I screwed up. I never had an idea that you could even jailbrake or what this ment. I read about 100 blog and comments on why I couldn't download with cydia or add source. Obviously I'm new to this hacking stuff no offence. If I can't downgrade what can I do to get what "you " have, and if I can't who can tell me when the dev team will have something out for tech ignorant people like me.
