Kiran, I have jb using redsnow and unlock using ultrasnow-iphone 3G on 3.0 My problem is I no longer able to sync apps which I have downloaded from sharing sites – error message 0XE8008001 from iTunes.

i have brand new unactivated iphone 3GS lock to carrier. Could i activate my iphone using redsnow? What is the best firmware to be use? Thanks in advance.

Simple : When browsing for ipsw in redsn0w browse the 3.0 firmware and it works a charm!

I have iPhone 3G. It was locked i successfully unlock with 3.0 custom firmware which was download from ilikemyiphone.com. My phone was quite working fine from last one month but yesterday i saw its start searching network so i noticed that my iphone WiFi and Bluetooth buttons were grayed color means disabled so i tried to restore firmware 3.0 but my phone hanged in restore mode. Apple logo appear and spanning ball start to restore but when it goes end after that nothing done for long time. i tried both 3.0 and 3.0.1 OS to restore and change the system but problem remains the same.
I also tried redsn0w when I browse the firmware IPSW it start process and give error message "Unable to recognize specified IPSW". I tried both 0.7.2 and 0.8 version on different two PCs but error is same.
If anyone knows the issue please guide me.

HI, will the redsn0w 0.8 activate 3gs without a sim card, a unactivated 3gs, when we see the connect to itunes/emergency call screen???
