Apple finally allows Micro-USB charging [UK for now]

5 October 2011 3 Comments

Charging cables are always a pain to carry and it is even worse when you have to carry multiple cables for different devices. Apple finally bowed to the pressure from the European campaign to standardize the charging cables. It is retailing at £8.00 at Apple’s UK stores and hopefully it makes its way into the US stores soon. This is beneficial to those who use 2 devices : Android and Apple and prefer to carry one cable. You will still have to carry the adapter though. Give it some time while it is available for a dollar or two from small players in the US!

its good that micro-USB charging is now available in market but as cables were annoying similarly there will be a fear of loss for these micro charging also.
