Apple iPhone 5 preorders debuted at 3:00 AM EST today giving folks in the west coast an unfair advantage. The delivery times are now showing a 2 week delay at Apple. Ordering from your carrier (in may case, AT&T which still says the iPhone 5 can be delivered on Sep 21st) or Walmart (at a discount, no less!) might be your best bets.

Ordering from your carrier is always the best route if you get some employer discounts. I ordered through AT&T Premier and got the upgrade fee waived automagically and free overnight shipping was thrown in as well!
