RARE ANTIQUE 19th Century Meiji Period Japan 4" Heavy Bronze Pricket Candlestick.
Candlestick is from Japanese Meiji period [1868-1912]. The spire top on dished drip-tray over pierced lugs, spherical knob, cast in relief with Buddhistic lion masks mask and tongue handles, panels of birds and flowers above three zoomorphic supports and tongue scroll legs above circular bases on a stepped circular plinth.
This exquisite antique 19th century Meiji period bronze pricket candlestick hails from Japan and stands at a solid 4 inches tall.
