This commemorative ceramic plate features the Great Seal of the Muscogee Creek Nation 1972 this piece of pottery was commissioned and formed by chief WE McIntosh, who contacted Frankoma pottery to form a pottery business celebrating an important anniversary for the tribe. The seal depicts traditional symbols important to the Creek Nation, surrounded by text identifying the tribe and including "Oklahoma" and "Indian Territory" references.
