Hey man I really like the blog.
Here’s my 2 cents :).
First Off, Thank you for including a iphone friendly version of your site 🙂 That’s a good step to take.
First thing i’d touch on to get a good user base is SEO or Search Engine Optimization I notice when i searched I like my iphone in google your weren’t first.
Try installing this plu gin for wordpress it does most of the heavy lifting and should help build your ranks in google and other search engines. http://wp.uberdose.com/2007/03/24/all-in-one-seo-pack/
also on that note your url setup is interesting…
when i go to ilikemyiphone.com it redirects to windows mobiles?
I’m confused as to why your not using ilikemyiphone as your a level domain for a iphone website…and having the windows mobile part on a seperate domain.
Please Correct me if i’m wrong.
Your serving an audience that knows sleek and minimalistic desgin so you might wanna switch up the them as suggested above.
Here’s a not bad Iphone theme for wordpress. http://themey.com/iphone-wordpress-theme/
Drop me an e-mail if you need a hand with theme customization I’d love to help.
People like gifts and downloads so try really bringing out your downloads section.
Announce when you add new stuff or updates on forums.
I wouldn’t suggest a repo though 🙂
maybe just nice themes or any form of exclusive content people like to feel special.
(this contest to be an beta tester proves my point)
Make your RSS feeds availeble in categories and different flavours and in FULL form (at least in the begining) (like lifehacker.com) again drop me an email if you need help or advice 🙂
Hope I said at least one useful thing.
Even if I didn’t win an invite i’d love to help you out or work with yah as this blog has great potential :).
Cheers

Thanks a lot man glad to be chosen! Looking forward for ilikemyiphone.com world domination LOL.Im gonna go off and figure out this customize 2.0 and see if I can get ahead of the game 🙂
I visit this site atleast once a day, usually from my iPhone. I am sure a lot of other users do as well, so here is a suggestion.
Make a logo so when we put your bookmark on our homescreen, it doesn’t show the whole browser. It would really help the aestethics for the iPhone and fit in better with the rest of the icons.
Also, a downloads section would be nice if it was possible, with some apps that are good and maybe not yet in installer… Not sure if its possible but I know it would bring a lot more traffic your way.
I hope you’ll spare me one of those invitations. I see this suggestion as important, atleast to me.
so as said before I didn’t know this page was a iPhone page untill I read the banner… A good idea would be a tech make over look with more easy to read text and placement. A great way to get an idea would be to look at other iPhone sites most are black or silver luke the iPhone. As pushed also would be to try and put news of upcoming programs and events like iPhone 2.0 and try and make the site the 1 stop shop for info on what’s coming out and what’s coming up.
Another idea is post deals on iPhone items such cases or new cheap prices that would be nice. New apps that arnt on installer could be posted on the side as quick clip blurbs to draw atention to advertisers and people who want their new app talked about and can make this site the google of iPhones and if you wan I have many more ideas. (yes I typed this all on my iPhone well hope you like the ideas.
another sugestion would be to have preview shots, reviews, and ratings to go with new apps. Not a lot of sites do that and would be really nice to have a face to the name 🙂
Also categories for the (hopefully soon to be) download page?
Sorry, forgot to send the email before. Check your email again and share the invites you get here with some people who desperately need it or on some forum. Enjoy!!!

Derdj1@hotmail.com is my e-mail address. If my post was confusing, I meant put the applications under the downloads section.
