The entire world is ecstatic about the iPhone and iPhone Dev team announced the official hack (jailbreak) for the much coveted iPhone f/w 1.1.1 by a simple TIFF exploit, thanks Niacin. No more hunting for batch pre-38 week iPhones. The best part being – we can finally order an iPhone directly from Apple without fearing if it would work and hey, you can apply your iPhone store credit if any 
Why do you even have to upgrade to 1.1.1 when 1.0.2 is working just fine?? Forgot the sound enhancement, iPhone tv-out, iTunes WiFi store?? Anyways, 1.1.1 happens to be the complete firmware (stable) cos’ Jobs wanted to sell as many iPhones with 1.0 such that they can be easily unlocked thereby raking in huge orders!! Don’t believe me? Watch their stock grow since iPhone’s release.

Has anyone tried this and confirmed that it works? Also this is to unlock/jailbreak and not activate/phone working with carrier other than AT&T, right?
Hi, after I restored my 1.1.1 iPhone to 1.0.2 firmware, the screen stays green and I cannot do anything on that. What should I do?
