I personally prefer Geohot’s jailbreak for the iPhone 3GS since it takes less than 3 minutes to get you up and running without huge downloads or .ipsw files! It is a simple click and jailbreak application available for both Windows and Macs. Some were having issues with hacktivating their iPhones using Geohot’s jailbreak.
