Have you ever wondered if you can use more than one external monitor with your shiny new MacBook Air? Well, for starters, it has only one DisplayPort (Thunderbolt that can be daisy chained for multiple thunderbolt devices but they are so expensive as of this writing). USB 3.0 port to the rescue. Charging cables are always a pain to carry and it is even worse when you have to carry multiple cables for different devices. Apple finally bowed to the pressure from the European campaign to standardize the charging cables. It is retailing at £8.00 at Apple’s UK stores and hopefully it makes its way into the US stores soon. This is beneficial to those who use 2 devices : Android and Apple and prefer to carry one cable. The guys who gave us the good old installer.app are at it again, this time by providing a simple and easy to use client for transferring files to the iPhone via USB rather than WiFi which has been the norm for quite some time! This method is a god send to those having WiFi issues (hardware) or have no access to a wireless router.
