iPhone Unlocked – WiFi,iPod Works with T-Mobile SIM

After iPhone launch fever,interesting details are popping up all over the internet. I was browsing to see if someone managed to unlock their iPhone and we can already see efforts headed in the right direction. A company reports that they have unlocked 2000 iPhones as I write this article. They are asking you for your email as well as the IMEI number. ZDNet says that they get Incorrect SIM: This iPhone must be used with an approved SIM error but WiFi reportedly works with a T-Mobile SIM. Apple is planning to release the same iPhone all over the world,hence a custom Mac OS X for iPhone reportedly exists and unlocking your iPhone can be a breeze!

Update : Alex King claims to have cancelled A&T service without losing a penny and is now using the iPhone both as an internet device (N800) and an iPod!! The phone part needs few tweaks which are being worked on 🙂iPhoneWorks.jpg

  4. Hi! I put my boyfriend’s t mob sim card in my iphone, and as it has wifi it still works for push emails and youtube! yeah! I wish it would be unlocked as soon as possible. Actually I found a unblock sim card code in my AT&T website, but I don’t know where should I enter the code and try it…. I already tried to dial those 8 PKU numbers but my iphone has no response even no wrong number tune…. weird.

    1. you can call the company who you bought the iphone from and tell them you are traveling out of the country and you are gonna use their service there and you want your phone unlock. They will try and talk you out of it but don't give in. Tell them you need your phone unlock.

  7. hey ive been desperately waiting for the iphone to be launched, due to which i have not purchased a new phone in a year and my cell phone has to be replaced cause its in a terrible state, so i was wondering if you could give me an insight n tell me if its going to be possible to unlock the iphone in the near future, and for me to be able to use it in london.

But as you know it’s impossible to reach it from here (so I ask Metch how did she got the phone in Kuwait!!) I really need to know how can anyone, like me for example, without an american adress can buy the phone unlocked off course!   11. Hey,good news!! Password hacked for the dmg file and a lot happening. The official word is not out yet. iPhone is nearly hacked, now it is being tuned to work with any network in the world 🙂

    May I ask which push email client you are using for the iphone? I have been stuck with a Treo for a while because I have not been able to find a good push email client that is better than ChatterEmail. Thank you.

    Windows Mobile is where I want to go to.

    Yep, basically it is a quad band phone and US has no need for a 900 MHz frequency,hence it is a world phone. It is in mass production for WorldWide release I believe.

  19. Well, I guess it is $175?? If you can buy an iPhone, $175 should not be too much!! Moreover,you can upgrade to a new phone and then upgrade to iPhone for free and sell the new phone thereby saving money on the ETF 🙂

  20. $175 for my Treo, $175 for my wife’s phone and $170 for my son’s. If it was just the $175.00 I’d have busted out of my contract in a heartbeat.

  21. Ohhhh, why not upgrade all their phones to iPhone & AT&T and sell their old phones @ Craigslist,Ebay!! I suggest taking the free phones first and then taking the iPhone to whoever needs one – thereby minimizing the loss to a great extent!! Hope I made sense 🙂

  22. FX, sorry I have no idea push email cilent. When I turn on my iphone, there is a “mail” button, after sync with pc thru itunes, my iphone already has information about pop and smtp account, then I input my password in the setting section, after all my iphone is ready to get emails! There is no more button I can click for push email cilent information…. I will try to look about it again 🙂

    About the SKU I mentioned before, I think I just misunderstand what I got…. sigh, I am going to overseas trips and hopefully iphone can be unlocked quicky! 🙂

  24. admin im honestly very confused with so many sites giving out different opinions on the unlocking of the iphone, some say only the wifi and ipod work, some say it is completely unlocked, is it completely unlocked?
