Yeah, you heard it right!! No more command line hacking or INdependence usage if you want to jailbreak your iPhone. AppSnapp is a mobile-safari tool which lets you Jailbreak your iPhone / iPod Touch and even installs the installer.app application! They even patch the Tiff Exploit which Apple couldn’t yet close! For those all who already achieved jailbreak/activation and want to patch the Tiff Exploit, launch installer.app and check for the patch as shown in pic below.

    i visited jailbreakme.com from my 1.1.1 iphone, and i tap on install appsnapp, it closed safari and returned to home screen… nothing happened after that.. no new icon appeared.. please help..

    I heard that Jailbreakme.com is taken down. You might want to try iphone.unlock.no instead.. It should work but hey, I recommend the above two links, its fast and easy!

    @ javO : I suggest you upgrade to 1.1.3 via iTunes and use iJailbreak/ZiPhone to jailbreak for the installer.app!!

    chris : the icon should show in the secnd page probably, just flick to the second page on the homescreen( u shud c 2 , 3 dots at the bottom of the screen…)…
